Word online has it that producers are thinking of a complete revamp of the show
after it hit the lowest ratings threshold ever. That would include firing all
judges and bringing new faces, and cutting down their number from 4 to 3.
If that’s true and they’re thinking of firing Nicki Minaj (along with Mariah Carey and Keith Urban), tough luck for them because she’s already made up her mind not to return for another season.
“It's safe to say she isn't coming back to Idol. She's okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway,” says an insider for the e-zine.
Admittedly, Nicki wants to focus on a new album, other business ventures, and perhaps even an international tour.
