cynthiaokpala.blogspot.com

A beaming Duchess of Cambridge made her last solo public appearance before the birth of her first child next month today at the naming ceremony of Princess Cruises' 1,082ft ship, Royal Princess.
Sporting a £169 dalmatian print coat from high street retailer, Hobbs, over a pretty, white knee-length dress, classic black court shoes and a neat black fascinator, the Duchess walked up the royal blue carpet to a rousing musical welcome courtesy of the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Pipe Band of 1st Battalion Irish Guards.
Smiling broadly, the eight-months pregnant Duchess shook hands with officials and representatives from the cruise line watched by guests and a celebrity contingent that included veteran TV presenter, Sir Bruce Forsyth.

After a performance from pop singer, Natasha Bedingfield, the Right Rev Tim Dakin, Bishop of Winchester, blessed the ship and delivered a prayer. before the Duchess smashed a £1,250 Nebuchadnezzar of Moet et Chandon champagne against the hull of the Royal Princess to officially name the ship.

The Duchess, who is around eight months pregnant, looked relaxed as she stepped from her chauffeur-driven vehicle to the quayside in Southampton, after making the journey from London by helicopter.
She took her place on a stage in blustery conditions that threatened rain and seated opposite in a large grandstand were guests associated with charities that have the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge or Prince Harry as their patrons.

Spectators were from East Anglia's Children's Hospice, Kate's charity, SkillForce which has William as its figurehead, and Harry's organisation WellChild.
Captain Tony Draper invited the Duchess up to perform the naming ceremony on a nearby platform. Two youngsters, Isobel Rowbotham, 14, and her eight-year-old brother Charles, handed the Duchess a pair of scissors to cut a length of rope to launch the bottle into the hull.
The youngsters' brother died from a brain tumour while a toddler but they were supported by Kate's charity East Anglia's Children's Hospice.
Before cutting the rope, Duchess chatted to the pair, then carried out the ceremony, telling the guests: 'I name this ship Royal Princess, may God bless her and all who sail in her.'
The bottle was released and flew into the hull, smashing to a large cheer.
She then looked on as the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Pipe Band of 1st Battalion Irish Guards staged a colourful parade to round off the christening ceremony.
Despite the ship's regal name, the vessel was not named after the Duchess of Cambridge. Instead, the name was taken from the original Royal Princess ship which launched in 1984 and is no longer in service.

Becoming a ship's godmother is a symbolic position similar to a patron or sponsor that dates back to the mid-19th century when leading women were selected for the honour.
Princess Cruises has a history of illustrious godmothers for past ships including Diana, Princess of Wales, who named the first Princess Royal in 1984, actress Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, and Baroness Thatcher.
'Appointing a godmother to name a new ship is one of maritime’s oldest traditions,' said Paul Ludlow, UK Director of Princess Cruises.

'Historically their role is to be entrusted with the safe guidance of a vessel and its passengers. We are thrilled to welcome HRH Duchess of Cambridge, godmother to Royal Princess, to Southampton and look forward to celebrating this historic occasion.'
'It is a great honour for Princess Cruises that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has accepted our invitation to become the Godmother to Royal Princess,' added Princess Cruises CEO Alan Buckelew.
'We are delighted that the Duchess will launch our new ship and can think of no better way to celebrate our company’s British heritage and our commitment to the country.'
The spectacular vessel arrived in Southampton after a lengthy journey from the Monfalcone shipyard where she was built, and was met with a rousing welcome from the Southampton University Brass Band.
Along with a a fully-equipped games room, casino and a spa, the vast cruise ship has a has a 28ft glass-bottomed viewing gallery, 10 different restaurants including one that specialises in steak and lobster, and 1,780 luxury staterooms.
Royal Princess is now the largest in Princess Cruises' 16-strong fleet, although it will be joined by a similarly sized sister ship, Regal Princess, next year.
The newly christened Royal Princess will now depart on her maiden voyage, which will take her round the coastline of Spain to Barcelona, via Vigo, Lisbon, Gibraltar and Malaga.
From Barcelona, the ship will embark on a 12-day voyage around the Mediterranean before a longer 30-day cruise that will take it across the Atlantic to the sunny Florida city of Fort Lauderdale.

It will then depart on a five-day Caribbean cruise that takes in Princess Cays in the Bahamas, the pretty island of St Maarten, the British Virgin Islands and St. Thomas before returning to the American port.

Model claims Kanye West 'cheated' on pregnant Kim Kardashian

cynthiaokpala.blogspot.com

A Canadian model claims rapper Kanye West cheated on pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian after they met at one of his shows.
In stunning claims Leyla Ghobadi, 24, told America's Star magazine that their fling started in July 2012 and continued even after Kim had announced her pregnancy after Kanye dismissed his relationship with the reality star as just 'for publicity and nothing serious'.
Explaining her decision to reveal the relationship, brunette Leyla said: 'This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know.'

Kim's representatives have denied the reports, while Kanye's people have yet to respond to MailOnline's request for comment.
Kanye is said to have first set his sights on curvy model Leyla when he saw her dancing in the crowd at his show in Atlantic City in July last year.
And despite Kim also being present at the gig in Revel’s Ovation Hall, Kanye reportedly instructed a member of his entourage to seek out Leyla and invite her backstage.
The rapper is then reported to have invited Leyla for cocktails at AC’s HQ Nightclub, before asking her to come back to his hotel room.

However, Leyla declined, adding to the publication: 'I refused, as I felt it was too rushed.'
Kanye then reportedly asked Leyla and her friends, who had driven down from Montreal to watch his show, if they wanted to attend the concert the next evening, and gave them backstage passes.
And while Leyla admits she knew Kanye was with Kim at the time, she said the 36-year-old musician told her the relationship was 'for publicity and nothing serious'.

After agreeing to accompany Kanye back to his hotel room after chatting to him backstage, Leyla said: 'We began to make out for a while - and next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex.'
The couple's next reported meeting came in October in New York, as Kim, who had not announced her pregnancy at that point, was in Miami.
Leyla even alleges that Kanye contacted her just last weekend to see if she wanted to meet up, but said that at that point she was fully aware of Kim's pregnancy, adding: 'I would never do that to someone.

Michael Jackson's Chaotic Bedroom in Unseen Photos

New images as promoter tells trial he was 'scared to death' by star's treatment
These are the shocking images which further detail Michael Jackson's tragic spiral into prescription pill dependency, revealed as his family pursue a lawsuit against his concert promoters.
The evidence pictures, released by the Los Angeles Police Department this week, show numerous pill bottles, oxygen tanks and medical supplies littered around the superstar's bedroom at the time of his death on June 25, 2009.
One image, which was not among the dozens of pictures shown as part of the Conrad Murray manslaughter trial, reveals a metal stand with a hanging bag of intravenous fluids attached.
In the background are numerous portraits of unidentified babies along with a small picture of Charlie Chaplin. Several canisters of what appears to be oxygen stand next to a wooden dresser topped with gilded mirror.

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine is suing AEG Live, claiming it failed to properly investigate her son's personal doctor Conrad Murray and missed warning signs about his failing health.
Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 after giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol.
In the new photo collection, prescription pill bottles are seen lined up on a nightstand alongside over-the-counter products and a bottle of water while empty containers roll around on the floor.
Along with propofol, the names of drugs Diazepam and Lidocaine are marked on some bottles' labels.
In one telling image, which appears to have been taken in a car, there is a list of nearby 24-hour pharmacies and the phone numbers.
Conrad Murray's medical bag is also indicated in one picture, according to RadarOnline, stashed high in a closet in the superstar's dressing room.
There are also similar images from Murray's trial including shots of Jackson's iconic embroidered jackets hanging in a closet and stacks of movies on a nightstand.

The shocking new set of images came as jurors in the Jackson case were shown an email on Monday in which the top executive at AEG Live LLC expressed grave concerns about treatments Jackson was receiving from his longtime dermatologist.
The email sent by AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips said the company was 'scared to death' of drug injections given to Jackson.
Phillips told jurors that the email was a response to a $48,000 bill that Jackson's manager received for the treatments by Dr Arnold Klein.
'He scares us to death because he is shooting him up with something,' Phillips wrote.

The email was sent to Jackson's business manager Michael Kane after a meeting was held at the singer's house to address his health and missed rehearsals.
The treatments included numerous shots of cosmetic drugs such as Restalyne and botox, as well as other unidentified intramuscular shots, Phillips said, citing the bill.

AEG denies any wrongdoing, and Phillips and other executives have testified during the trial that it would have been inappropriate to ask about or intervene in Jackson's medical care.
Phillips was told by a judge to answer questions posed by a lawyer for Katherine Jackson without arguing and that his demeanor might be hurting his case.

Jurors were sent from the courtroom before Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos addressed Phillips, who has sparred with attorney Brian Panish throughout his testimony. The lawyers have been repeatedly warned by the judge about the behavior.
'Arguing with the lawyers isn't really going to help,' Palazuelos told Phillips. 'It's not going to help your case. It's not going to help anybody.'
Phillips said Panish was repeatedly asking him questions about the same subject.
'I'm just trying not to say the wrong thing,' Phillips said.
The admonition by the judge came after Panish asked Phillips about characterizations of Murray that Phillips made in an email sent five days before the singer died.

Phillips acknowledged that some of the statements - including that AEG Live had checked out Murray and that the former cardiologist didn't need the job - turned out not to be true.
When Panish asked if Phillips had acknowledged that some of his statements to the director of Jackson's This Is It shows weren't true, the executive said: 'Honestly, only to stop you from badgering me, yes.'
Palazuelos briefly stopped the testimony and issued the warning.
Jessica Stebbins Bina, a defense attorney for AEG Live, said some of Panish's questions had been argumentative. The judge disagreed.

Mario Balotelli's girlfriend Fanny Negeusha has appeared to confirm their engagement by posting a picture of herself wearing a dazzling diamond ring on her Instagram page.
According to reports, the 22-year-old footballer popped the question with the £100,000 jewel this weekend.
Belgian model Fanny later confirmed the news by posting a picture of the diamond, alongside the caption: 'It's official!'

Mario and Fanny, who started dating six months ago, are now said to be putting plans for the lavish ceremony in action.
The pair had apparently spoken about getting married before, but the timing hadn't been right.
However, now the pair are planning to take a luxury holiday in the near future to discuss details for their big day.
The engagement comes after the pair split briefly last month following allegations that Mario had made lewd comments about his model girlfriend.
According to reports, the sportsman told his Real Madrid teammates that they could sleep with Fanny if the team beat Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League clash.
But Fanny was quick to forgive Mario, and the pair were seen enjoying a romantic day out together at an Italian park last week.
Mario spoke of his love for Fanny during a magazine interview earlier this year, saying: 'In a short time she found herself in sync with me. I could spend my whole life with someone like this.'
The footballer had previously been in a relationship with 25-year old presenter Raffaella Fico who claims her four-month old child Pia is his daughter.
Mario reportedly denies the fatherhood claims, and has asked for a paternity test to prove it before he sees the baby.

She's known for her racy ensembles.

But there's no doubt that Azealia Banks' latest stage costume was one of her most risque yet.

The mesh-covered, neon one-piece was accented with bands of hot pink fabric, but the main attraction of the long-sleeved, figure-hugging number was her busting cleavage.
And the suit didn't shy away from baring parts of her toned arms, firm derriere, lean legs, and flat tummy either.
The Yung Rapunxel rapper teamed the funky bodysuit with a pair of black high-top sneakers, featuring a bright pink sole to match her ensemble.
