kate glamorous : Royals at Queen's Coronation service

With just over a month to go until she gives birth, Kate would have been forgiven for putting her feet up for the last few weeks of her pregnancy.
But today, as she arrived at Westminster Abbey to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation, the Duchess of Cambridge showed she has no intention of hiding away in the final stretch.
The Duchess unveiled yet another outstanding maternity look for the occasion: a bespoke Jenny Packham dress and coat.

The dress was described as a 'delicate daisy lace dress with silver grey ribbon detail' while the jacket was described as soft peach silk shantung.
Kate accessorised the outfit with a pale peach pillbox hat by milliner Jane Taylor, worn last year for the Jubilee celebrations at St Paul's.
She also wore a dazzling pair of earrings, which are reported to have been a wedding gift from Prince Charles.

The Queen, arriving on the dot of 11 o'clock, wore a stunning pale gold dress with pleated bottom, thought to be made by her in-house dressmaking team, led by Angela Kelly.
Camilla too opted for a pale shade, wearing a nipped-in coat in the lightest shade of egg shell blue and a broad-brimmed lace-trimmed hat.

Oprah Winfrey Awarded Doctrate of Laws Degree By Harvard

Oprah-Receives-Honarary-Doctorate-from-Harvard
You can freely call her Dr. Oprah Winfrey…The media mogul was yesterday given a honorary Doctor of Laws degree by the prestigious Harvard University during their 362nd commencement ceremony.
For Oprah, the honor was a hard pill to swallow, but during her moving commencement speech, she dropped some wisdom that she’s learned along the way in building her own media empire.
Check out excerpts from her speech and watch the speech below..
On what she’s learned from failure
I am even prouder to share a fundamental truth you might not have learned even as graduates of Harvard. It doesn’t matter how far you might rise, at some point you are bound to stumble. If you are constantly doing what we do, raising the bar, If you are constantly pushing yourself higher, the law of average predicts that you will at some point fall. When you do, remember this: there is no such thing as failure. Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction. When you are down there in the hole, it looks like failure.
So this past year, I had to spoon feed those words to myself. When you are down in the hole, it’s really okay to feel bad for a little while. Give yourself time to mourn what you think you may have lost, but then learn from every mistake. Every encounter and particularly your mistakes are there to teach you and force you to be more of who you are.
Then, figure out what is the next right move. The key to life is to develop an internal moral emotional GPS that can tell you which way to go.

BEVERLY OSU NAKED VIDEO GOES VIRAL

Nigeria Big Brother House The Chase reality show representative

Everyone knows who Beverly Osu is. For some who might not, she's the Nigerian female representative inside the on going Big Brother House: The Chase reality show. She's a known model/video vixen, so being half nude or totally naked might not be anything extraordinary to her.

It's either that, she doesn't care being seen naked or she does not know, but any which way her shower video at the BB show has been released by someone and it has become a hit amongst voyeurs/voyeuses. One would have thought that having watched several series of the past Big Brother episodes, she of all people would have known that those mirrors inside the bathroom have cameras behind them. At least if we all can remember, as much as Karen Igho, the winner of the last edition of the BB show was vilified for having done nude photographs before entering the house, she made sure that her modesty was not unnecessarily exposed to the whole world, during shower hour. Karen always bathed in her under-wears, she could have shown to many those man mountain more, if she had thought it was okay. The idea is we have not yet matured enough in this part of the world for open show of soft porn.

So like we said at the very beginning, it's either she knew what was up and didn't care and that might be a ploy to get people to keep her in the house or she was totally ignorant, and we find that very hard to believe. Anyways it is her body.

The Queen And granddaughters Beatrice and Eugenie on Derby day

It is one of the biggest days in the British racing calendar.
And no Epsom Derby would be complete without the presence of the country's most high-profile horse-racing fan - her Majesty the Queen.
The 87-year-old monarch was resplendent in a mint green dress coat with a co-ordinating hat as she arrived at Epsom Downs ahead of the Investec Derby today.

Princess Beatrice, famous for her unorthodox choice of hat at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011, again decided on a statement headpiece for her day at the races.

Prince Andrew's eldest daughter wore a black and white patterned dress with black heels and gold jewellery, which she accessorised with an unusual maroon cloche hat and matching clutch bag.
Her sister Eugenie chose a more spring-like palette, wearing a full-skirted frock in shades of blue, white and taupe, with a co-ordinating taupe hat and nude heels.

Drink three liters of water a day or risk kidney stones warns

Thousands of new cases of kidney stones every year are caused by ignorance or denial of the need to drink three liters of water a day, according to a leading doctor.
Bhaskar Somani, a consultant urological surgeon at Southampton General Hospital, said a lack of awareness about the dangers of dehydration was responsible for an annual increase in renal stone admissions, including among young people in their twenties.'The number of people admitted to hospital suffering severe pain and discomfort due to kidney stones is increasing by between 5 per cent and 10 per cent every year,' he said.
The British population's ignorance of the need to drink three litres of water a day is leading to more cases of kidney stones, says a leading doctor
The British population's ignorance of the need to drink three liters of water a day is leading to more cases of kidney stones, says a leading doctor
'Over the past decade, the number of hospital admissions for renal stones in the UK rose by 63 per cent to more than 80,000 and there is no sign of these numbers letting up.'
Kidney stones develop when crystals of salt gather into lumps and are not flushed out of the body due to a lack of adequate hydration, often lodging in the urinary system's tubes.
They can cause severe abdominal and groin pain which, in many cases, can only be corrected through surgery.

The condition affects about 10 to 20 per cent of men and 3 to 5 per cent of women between the ages of 30 and 60.
At Southampton General Hospital, the number of patients admitted to hospital every month has almost doubled - a trend Mr. Somani said would continue without intervention.
'The only way to drive this down is to drive home the message that healthy lifestyle, diet and fluid intake is the best way to prevent the development and recurrence of stones,' he said.
The condition affects around 10 to 20 per cent of men and 3 to 5 per cent of women between the ages of 30 and 60
The condition affects around 10 to 20 per cent of men and 3 to 5 per cent of women between the ages of 30 and 60
'With evidence that 50 per cent of patients treated are likely to have a recurrence within ten years, largely due to complacency around hydration within a few years of having surgery, we know we face an uphill battle to change the national mindset, but we must make a start.'
Mr. Somani said all adults should aim to drink between two to three liters of water a day, while former stone patients should maintain a daily intake upwards of three liters to avoid recurrence.
He has also called for the introduction of a screening program for all high risk patients - those with diabetes, gout or inflammatory bowel disease - and regular monitoring of people who suffered their first incidence of stones under the age of 25.
