Today, she cover’s Elle Magazine and calls her self the “luckiest broad in Hollywood,” while revealing that she didn’t grow up seeking that type of fame.
Check out excerpts from her interview with Elle below…
On Her Success
“I’m the luckiest broad in Hollywood now. To be the lead actor on “Scandal” and to be in the highest-earning Tarantino movie – I don’t get to ask for more.”
On How She Never Thought She Would Be a Model or Film Actress
“I was not that girl. I was a kooky theater kid, silly and goofy and academic.”
On the Career She Thought She’s Pursue
“I imagined I’d be a clinical psychologist, with a focus on how performance shapes identity. I’d figure out ways to use role-playing in the healing of people.”
On How She Gets Primped For the Red Carpet
“I found out I enjoy the process. All these people show up at my house, they all have kits, someone has dresses. And it’s like, Let’s have fun. It’s not all about me. We’re able to create stories on the red carpet.”
Jennifer Lopez Buying $10 Million Hamptons Estate
Just a day after news broke that her ex, Marc Anthony, dropped $2.5 million on a 6,000-square-foot Los Angeles-area mansion, Jennifer Lopez has one-upped her former husband, making news for plunking down four times that amount for a whopper of an estate in the Hamptons.
Jennifer Lopez. Getty ImagesA source tells the New York Post that the 43-year-old songstress; her much-younger beau, 24-year-old choreographer Casper Smart; and her 5-year-old twins, Max and Emme, visited the mega-property several times recently, and Lopez has finally decided to take the plunge and buy the property, which is located in Bridgehampton, New York, near Mecox Bay. The Post reports the place previously rented during a three-month summer period for a breathtaking $425,000. It was listed for sale at $9.95 million.
According to the listing, provided to omg! by real estate website Zillow, the custom home (built nine years ago) provides something that’s probably pretty important to J.Lo: privacy, touting that it’s "guaranteed" thanks to a "private cul de sac." The eight-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath manse – spread over 8,500 square feet on three acres – also features a theater, sauna, steam room pool, pool house, and two adjacent lots just perfect for building a guest house and tennis court. The listing also includes two words the rest of us probably don’t associate with a $10 million home: "Incredible value."
Jenny’s clearly a long way from the block …

Rihanna Broke Up With Chris Brown Because He Said He Is Not Ready To ‘Make Her A Wife”
Rihanna and Chris Brown are pure jokers…First, I thought because they are young, they are just struggling to understand love…But come to think of it, I did understand love and had a stable relationship when I was as young as them—so that is not an excuse.
The only excuse I can find for them at this stage is; it is either they like the whole media attention and therefore continue to play their silly relationship tricks or they simply do not know what they want…
Do you know why they broke up this time?
According to a Chicago’s Sun Times, Rihanna kicked Chris Brown out of her life once again because Chris Brown said in a recent interview that, he was not ready to “wife’ a girl as young as Rihanna…
REALLY?

REALLY?
From The Sun Times:
A source close to Rihanna told this column Thursday, “She really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again — no matter what people think.”
The singer was especially infuriated by Brown’s comment in an interview that he wasn’t ready to be “wife-ing” someone as young as Rihanna.
“She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say,” added the source, “Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that.”
Though the ex-couple were both in New York the past few days, they never connected in person.

Big Brother Africa Winner Karen Igho Gives Quick Tips on How to Survive the Big Brother House
With the new “Big Brother Africa- The Chase” just around the corner, the crew at Africa Magic tracked the BBA: Amplified Winner, Karen Igho to get a few pointers on how she survived the Big Brother house and emerged a winner.
When asked how to evade eviction, she said,
When asked how to evade eviction, she said,
“LOL, you can’t! Everyone goes through that chopping board or hot seat. If you are good they nominate you and if you are bad, the same thing happens, so just keep it real and leave everything to God.”And, when asked how to survive the Big Brother House, she said,
“Nice question, to be honest I don’t know. God kept me going”.They went to take about a few other things, but her parting words and advice to new housemates was:
“be real because Africa is watching and they can tell when you are faking it. Don’t go with a game plan, let God’s plan unveil for you, it is what it is at the end of the day. Good luck to this season’s housemates and may the best man or woman win.”
For the full interview from Africa Magic, {click here}. Finally, I guess we can come to the conclusion, from Karen‘s words, that what the housemates really need in the Big Brother House is God
